About us
I founded Feed Your Future in March 2008 out of a strong desire to make a difference to the eating habits and attitudes to food of young children. When I set Feed Your Future up, my aim was to inspire young children to get involved in cooking and enjoy healthy food whilst having lots of fun. This desire came about as a direct result of bringing up and feeding 2 small but very discerning food critics (otherwise known as children).
I worked previously as Head of Buying for a mail order clothing company but left work to stay at home and look after my 2 young children. It’s during that time that I became passionate about feeding them a healthy balanced diet and my interest and love of proper home cooking developed.
When my youngest daughter started school it was time to fulfil a long held ambition of starting my own business. All of these factors, together with my belief that many children no longer have as much opportunity to learn about food in the kitchen and the alarming rise in childhood obesity have inspired me to form Feed Your Future.
Kids cooking parties, adult cooking clubs, bespoke cookery projects, kids cooking.
As Feed Your Future has grown and developed, the classes have now extended to adults and teenagers and there have been a whole host of Mums, Dads and children who have enjoyed learning how to cook.
We now provide kids cooking parties, after-school cooking clubs, adult cooking clubs, Young Carers clubs, bespoke cookery courses and cookery projects. Cooking classes and projects are delivered throughout the north west area.
I passionately believe that if Feed Your Future manages to inspire an enjoyment of food and cooking in children and adults, andĀ helps them to make well balanced food choices and enjoy a healthy lifestyle, then it will have done its job well.
