Who are we?
Feed Your Future offer fun hands-on cookery classes for children which
promote healthy eating and food awareness. Classes are always held in
a safe and structured environment and encourage independence, confidence,
social skills, motor skills, numeracy, literacy, creativity and fun.
Children enjoy the opportunity to experiment with food, explore new tastes
and learn skills that will last them a lifetime.
Parents enjoy the opportunity for children to learn these skills in
someone else’s kitchen and not have to clear up after them!
What do we offer?
School workshops
Workshops are held in schools during the school day which link in to
the national curriculum. They encourage children to get involved with
food in a relaxed and fun environment and nurture a genuine enjoyment of
food and cooking. Workshops are very practical and are always
delivered in a very professional manner whilst keeping a sense of fun and
enjoyment.
After-school clubs
After-school clubs are offered as 5/6 week courses at the end of the
school day. These cookery clubs normally teach 10-12 children for 1
hour a week and the children enjoy making a new recipe each week.
These clubs are extremely popular and are always particularly well received
by the children who love getting the chance to make their own food and then
either eat it at the end of the class or take it home to share.
Holiday classesHoliday classes are an opportunity for the children to work in smaller groups. These are always really enjoyable and the children normally make a main course and a sweet and then the group sit and share their meal together. What could be a better way to spend a few hours?
Birthday parties
Our birthday parties are an ingenious way to have a unique children’s
birthday party. Our party organisers come along and help the children
to make their own party tea. They then eat their delicious food
together. The children make some delicious recipes and do everything
themselves with our guidance. Unique and great fun these parties are
an absolute winner.
An on-line shop
Offering a range of cookery equipment and cookery kits that are
perfect for children’s’ birthday presents or children’s Christmas presents.
We have put together baking kits that we feel proud of. We also offer
a DIY party kit to anyone wanting a cookery birthday party that lives too
far away from us. Again, we have put a lot of care and attention into
these kits and we are proud to put our name to them. The kits have
been developed using all of our practical know-how and experience.
